Founder - Roberto Di Stefano Design Studio
After graduating in Industrial Design from Milan Polytechnic (2004), he obtained a post-graduate specialisation in Interior Design (2006), with a thesis project on a hotel in Milan, under the supervision of architect Luca Scacchetti. In 2004, still a student, he joined Piero Lissoni's studio, where he worked until 2010: he worked on several projects for Tecno Spa (2005-2008). Since 2006, he has been involved in shop renovations, mainly in the United States, for the Israeli brand Elie Tahari. 2009 saw the opening of the Kerakoll Design Gallery in Milan and the refurbishment of the Knoll International offices in London. Since 2010 he has been working with Kerakoll Spa, overseeing construction sites for the Cementoresina® project in Italy and abroad. As a freelance architect he has supervised several projects in Sicily, Milan, Geneva, Eindhoven. In 2012 he joined the staff of the AA School of Architecture in London and the British Council, for the design of the British Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 'Common Ground'. He recently worked with Paolo Castelli Spa, as site manager at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Milan; he is currently managing several interior design projects, as well as the company's art direction and product design.
