Luigi Mario Ceruti Puricelli is CEO and President of Puricelli Group, a company with over 70 years of experience in the production of laminates and decorative surfaces. With five strategic production sites in the Mediterranean (Italy, Spain, Greece and Tunisia), Puricelli Group is internationally recognised for quality, innovation and sustainability, becoming a reference point for architects, designers and furniture manufacturers worldwide.
Luigi Mario Ceruti Puricelli has led the group through a significant path of relaunch and growth. Appointed CEO of Puricelli srl in 2014, he became President and Owner in 2017, taking complete control of the company after the death of his grandfather, Cavaliere Puricelli. Under his leadership, the group undertook a major corporate and industrial restructuring, with a focus on revamping production facilities and repositioning the brand as a high value-added producer for demanding international markets.
In 2018, he founded PLV TRADING to promote the use of Puricelli laminate in new applications, such as interior design, architecture and construction. Always oriented towards innovation, he is currently working on developing a project based on circular economy, which has led to the patenting of PUREX laminate panels, made from industrial and civil waste materials.
In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Luigi Mario Ceruti Puricelli has been President of the chemical and pharmaceutical sector of the Industrial Association of Lecco and Sondrio since 2022.
