With the firm belief that design is an opportunity to make the world a better place, Roberto has dedicated his 25-year architectural career to creating spaces that foster connection and community.
Shunning self-referential styles in favour of meaningful, people-centred solutions, it focuses on hospitality design as a powerful tool to bring people together and enrich the human experience.
Roberto holds a Master's degree in Architectural Design from La Sapienza University of Rome (2001) and participated in the Erasmus programme at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain (1998).
He shared his experience as a guest critic at the New York Institute of Technology, the New Jersey School of Architecture and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
Roberto began his career at Taller de Arquitectura Ricardo Bofill in Barcelona, contributing as a junior designer to urban projects across Europe and Asia. In 2004 he moved to New York, joining Richard Meier and Partners, where he was project architect for the Italcementi headquarters in Bergamo, one of the first LEED Platinum certified buildings in Europe.
Also in New York, Roberto managed major projects at PEI Partnership, winning competitions for Dongfang and the Bank of China branch in Queens; at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, he worked on the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Denver.
Currently with Rockwell Group, Roberto has led the design of the LIV Las Vegas Nightclub and numerous high-profile casino, hospitality and retail projects in the US, the Middle East, India and Japan, continuing his mission to create vibrant and inclusive environments around the world.
