Co-Founder - studio b-arch

Sabrina Bignami combines her professional practice with a strong social commitment to promote a more equitable and inclusive culture of architecture, with a particular focus on the role of women in the profession. In 2021 she was selected by Rebel Architects as one of the 1000 most influential women in Italian architecture. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Toscana Teatro Metastasio. She graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence in 1997 and, in 1999, specialised in hotel restoration and design in Milan. In 2000, she founded the b-arch studio together with Alessandro Capellaro. In 2010 she completed a master's degree in Architectural Office Management and Strategies at SDA Bocconi. She has been an academic visiting professor at New Haven University and Tsinghua University in Beijing. She designs and realises residential, hospitality, restaurant and retail architecture in Italy, Europe and the Orient. Her works are published in leading interior design magazines and numerous international magazines and platforms.
