Architect Andreas Profanter, partner of the NOA studio and architect, recounts how the hospitality sector in Italy is increasingly focused on the existing building heritage. This challenge, far from being a limitation, has turned into an opportunity for the studio, which has been able to take hospitality structures into a new design phase, enhancing the link with history. Projects such as Falkensteiner Lido, Floris, Park Hotel Franceschi and Olympic are examples of this: contemporary interventions that dialogue with the past, adding new chapters to an ever-evolving architectural narrative.
