With over 350 business planning, branding and feasibility projects in the field of hotel and tourism infrastructure development between 2002 and 2024, Giorgio Ribaudo is one of the leading hospitality & tourism analysts in the country.
He has contributed to the industrial development of many major national hotel groups, within the teams of Econstat, KPMG, Horwath HTL and THRENDS.
With a background in the hotel industry that began in 1999, a degree in Tourism Economics and an MBA in the USA, Ribaudo served as a contract professor for about two decades between the University of Bologna, LUISS and Bocconi. In 2013, he started the census of hotel chains in Italy, building the largest and most up-to-date sector information system, which today, at THRENDS, also includes coverage of the luxury segment, hotel transactions, chains and CapEx.
He is a founding member of THRENDS and of ITHIC - Italian Hospitality Investment Conference.
