Bio

Bruno Marti, a hotelier passionate about cultural connectivity, creative storyteller and experience creator, is part of the founding crew of 25hours Hotels and is also in charge of brand marketing for SO/ Hotels & Resorts. Both brands are part of Ennismore, a global collective of hospitality brands built by founders.
Marti grew up at the foot of the Swiss Alps and was attracted to storytelling even before he started his career in the hotel industry. He holds a master's degree in English language and literature with a specialisation in film studies from the University of Zurich. During his studies, he gained his first work experience in the hospitality industry with employers such as the Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich or the iconic Swissair. His desire to learn more about this industry led him to attend the SHL hotel management school in Lucerne, where he graduated as a Hotelier-Restaurateur with a federal diploma.
Since 2006, Bruno Marti has shaped the 25hours brand and dozens of restaurant and bar concepts by opening 17 eccentric hotels around the world. His focus is on developing narratives for future hotels in collaboration with local designers, artists and partners, as well as bringing a property's story to life in daily communication and service experiences. In 2016, 25hours Hotels entered into a strategic partnership with Accor, which led to the creation of Ennismore, the largest and fastest growing lifestyle hospitality company.
Within Ennismore, Marti continued his role as brand leader for 25hours and also successfully worked on the rebranding of the bold TRIBE design hotels. In 2024, he and his team in Hamburg were responsible for the development of the fashion-oriented SO/ Hotels & Resorts brand.
He has been living out of a suitcase for more than 20 years and is still happy about it. With his keen sense for trends and pragmatic understanding of operations, Bruno is occasionally seen on conference stages and in front of hotel school students. He draws energy and inspiration from growing a wide range of chilli peppers, Shakespeare, vintage shopping, food and wine, cinema, lap swimming, cookbook collecting and the usual guilty pleasures of late-generation social media.
