Founder and co-managing director - JOI-Design

Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, university professor, speaker (keynote speaker) and author of numerous design books, founded the interior design studio JOI-Design together with her husband and business partner Peter Joehnk; since then the company has grown to become a leader in the European market for design for the international hospitality industry. Today, the studio boasts three talented partners who carry on the legacy of Corinna and Peter, while the dynamic duo remains active in the roles, now redefined, of brand ambassadors and consultants. The couple is devoting more time to JOI-Design India, the partner office founded in 2018, and to new initiatives, such as the Green Hospitality Conference recently launched, a project that is very close to their hearts and that will return for its second edition in 2027 following a successful pilot event held in 2026.
