Director of Interior Design EMEA, South West Asia - Hyatt Hotels Corporation

Justin Meath Baker is an industry veteran, with a list of luxury hotels ranging from Cuba to Kazakhstan, St Petersburg to Johannesburg and most places in between. After many years at the helm of his own award-winning boutique design firm, he went over to the dark side as Marriott's first design director outside the United States.
After a stint as a consultant to investors and operators of numerous brands, including Aman, Radisson, Anatara and Ritz Carlton, from glass towers to eco lodges, he now heads interior design for Hyatt EMEA across all brands. Current flagship projects include the Park Hyatt London with Super Potato, the Andaz Lisbon with Patricia Urquiola, the Thompson Vienna with Tara Bernerd, the Grand Hyatt Red Sea with Muza Lab and the Miraval Malaga with Rockwell.
With the recent acquisition of the Apple Leisure Group and Dream Hotel Group portfolios, Hyatt is undergoing a period of expansion throughout the region; in the Adriatic and Aegean alone, hotels in Zadar in Croatia (130 rooms), Kotor Bay in Montenegro (254 rooms), Tirana in Albania (170 rooms), Limassol (300 rooms) and Santorini (59 rooms) are under construction.
